Description
Meghan Jones is a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets Groups. Her practice focuses on securities and corporate law, with an emphasis on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, shareholder activism, private equity and corporate finance transactions. Meghan has extensive experience advising issuers, boards of directors, special committees, management teams, private equity funds, financial advisors and other transaction participants in numerous cross-border and domestic M&A and other strategic transactions across a broad range of industries. She also regularly advises clients on corporate governance, general corporate and securities regulatory compliance matters and exemptive relief matters.

Professional Activities
Meghan is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the American Bar Association.

Background
In 2019, Meghan completed a six-month secondment with Detour Gold Corporation.
