Description
Maryam Musbah is a lawyer in our Edmonton office focusing on insurance law and general litigation. She represents insurers, skillfully handling complex motor vehicle claims and advocating for a broad range of insurance clients.
Maryam’s litigation experience covers a wide array of matters, including residential tenancy issues, debt recovery, construction disputes, commercial leasing, shareholder disputes, fatality inquiries, motor vehicle accidents, and general insurance defense.

A strong advocate for resolving disputes through negotiation, Maryam believes that finding solutions outside of litigation can be both cost-effective and efficient for her clients. Her problem-solving approach is what drew her to law, and she has successfully represented clients before the Court of Justice in Alberta.

Maryam earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with Distinction from the University of Alberta, where she was actively involved with the Muslim Students’ Association and the Sociology Undergraduate Students’ Association. She completed her J.D. at the University of Alberta, working at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, where she provided legal support to low-income residents during her studies.

Her dedication to continuous learning and her passion for helping clients make her a trusted advisor in both her insurance and general litigation practice.
