Description
Mark Hein is a lawyer in our Calgary office with a focus on general civil litigation, insurance defence (personal injury, property damage, occupier’s liability, product liability, and construction), commercial litigation, and employment litigation.
Mark has over a decade of experience working in the travel industry, between 2002 – 2007, he was a travel agent and held a license to sell travel insurance through the Insurance Council of British Columbia. Since then, Mark has worked and lived on three continents, dealing in corporate travel with large banks, oil and gas, and mining companies, experience that he now applies to his practice.

He has volunteered with Civil Claims Duty Counsel and the Queen’s Bench Amicus Court Assistance Program with Pro Bono Alberta.

Outside the Office

Mark enjoys cycling, running, and golfing. He’s a fan of the English football club Tottenham Hotspur, and has a goal to watch a game at every Major League Baseball stadium.
