Lu Chen is a partner in the firm’s Banking & Finance group, focusing on corporate debt financings. Her practice holds particular emphasis on syndicated and non-syndicated secured and unsecured lending, senior and subordinated debt financings, acquisition financings and cross-border lending transactions.

Lu regularly represents Canadian and foreign banks, financial institutions and borrowers across a diverse range of business industries, including mining engineering, energy, manufacturing, technology, financial services, real estate investment and construction. Lu is known for providing responsive and consistently excellent client service, helping clients achieve their strategic goals and make informed business decisions.

Prior to joining Fasken, Lu gained solid practical experience and in-depth exposure to a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters at another law firm, including the structure and establishment of new businesses, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and various contractual arrangements.
