Description
Lori Isaj is an Associate in the Wills, Trusts and Estates Practice Group at WeirFoulds.

She advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of estate planning, trust and tax planning, and incapacity planning. She also advises executors, trustees, and beneficiaries on all aspects of estate and trust administration. Lori has extensive experience handling complex estate, trust, and incapacity matters and helping clients navigate through complexity with compassion and a focus on client service.

Lori uses her knowledge, skills, and experience to help her community. She volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario providing free legal advice to Ontarians in need related to wills, powers of attorney and estates. She has participated in the Ontario Bar Association’s Make a Will Month, speaking at local libraries about the importance of preparing wills and powers of attorney. She is regularly invited to present to local community groups and organizations about estate and tax planning.

Lori is a contributor to several publications including Taxes and Wealth Management, Your Guide to Charitable Giving & Estate Planning, and the Ontario Bar Association Trusts and Estates Law Section.

In 2024, Lori completed the requirements necessary to earn the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from the international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Lori has been repeatedly recognized in Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in Trusts and Estates for lawyers in their early career showing outstanding professional excellence in private practice.
