Laurie is the proprietor of Burrows Law in Saskatoon. Laurie obtained both his Bachelor of Education Degree (1979) and his Law Degree (1986) from the University of Saskatchewan. Laurie has had a distinguished career in the practice of law during his 28 years of practice, representing clients in family law through negotiation, mediation, collaborative law, and litigation.

Laurie is an avid curler, and enjoys curling for fun as well as coaching many accomplished teams. His passion for curling has led many teams of talented youths and adults to national and international success. Laurie enjoys spending time with his two teenage sons at the lake, on the lake, and participating in their many activities.
