Description
Laaiba is an associate lawyer at Nussbaum Family Law, where she focuses on a wide range of family law matters, including custody and access, child and spousal support, property division, and divorce. Prior to joining Nussbaum Family Law, Laaiba practiced at a family law firm in Downtown Toronto, gaining significant experience in all areas of family law. Before transitioning to family law, she practiced corporate law at one of Canada’s large national law firms, where she worked on complex commercial transactions and provided legal counsel to corporate clients across diverse industries.

Laaiba holds dual Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in both Ontario and Alberta, enabling her to represent clients in multiple jurisdictions.

Outside of her legal practice, Laaiba is passionate about travelling the world, exploring new food scenes, and cherishes spending time with her family and friends.
