Description
Jordan D. Wajs is an associate practising in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. His practice focuses on corporate commercial litigation. Jordan represents clients in connection to shareholder disputes and oppression claims, governance issues, contested transactions, injunctive relief, insolvency and creditors’ rights, regulatory proceedings and real property litigation. He acts for an array of corporate clients in bet-the-company litigation and has extensive experience with the Commercial List and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Professional Activities
Jordan is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, The Advocates’ Society and the Toronto Lawyers Association.

Background
Prior to joining Stikeman Elliott, Jordan interned in the financial services and entertainment industries. He also contributed to BEwork’s pioneering research in the application of behavioural economics to commercial and diplomatic decision-making. Jordan has co-led a mobile pro bono legal assistance clinic in Cape Town, South Africa.
