Jessica Robertshaw is a Calgary-based lawyer whose emphasis is in on civil litigation, insurance defense litigation – focusing in motor vehicle accidents and property issues – and construction litigation primarily around contractual disputes. Her clients include insurance companies, homeowners, condominium corporations and business owners. She has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal.
Jessica’s clients rely on her to make the issues they face more digestible and understandable. Her strong oral and written advocacy skills offer her clients the confidence they need to ensure their positions are well represented and she approaches each case with a thoroughness that ensures nothing is overlooked. All her clients’ issues – big or small – are carefully researched, and she feels that strong communication with her clients about their case is important and ensures that she is always available for discussion.

When Jessica is not at work, you’re likely to find her at the movie theatre. An admitted horror-movie buff, Jessica confesses the lure to this genre is the unrealism that surrounds it. When she’s not scaring herself, she loves being outside and reading historical fiction.
