James Musgrove is a competition and antitrust lawyer who has been involved in numerous high-profile national and international antitrust matters. With a practice focused on foreign investment and mergers and acquisitions, he assists clients in a range of industries, including banking and finance, marketing and advertising, and oil and gas.

James advises on cartels, investment reviews, foreign corrupt practices and distribution and makes regular presentations and submissions to the Competition Bureau. He is also a leading expert in marketing regulations and in advising on matters concerning misleading advertising and abuse of dominance.

Chambers Canada 2021 and Best Lawyers in Canada 2021 recognize James as a leading lawyer in both advertising and marketing law and competition / antitrust law.
