Ian Kirby was born and raised in Belleville, graduating from Centennial Secondary School.

Ian’s post secondary education commenced by attending Carleton University in Ottawa to obtain his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Law. After completing his first degree, he obtained his Diploma in Business Marketing from Algonquin College while concurrently completing Alternative Dispute Resolution certificates, including an Advanced Mediation certificate administered through Waterloo University. With an aspiration for the study of law, Ian furthered his education by attending law school.

Ian completed his Juris Doctor in law at Bond University with a specialization in Corporate Law.

Ian’s experience varies. As an associate lawyer with Reynolds O’Brien LLP for over 10 years, his practice focuses on: Family Law, Real Estate and Corporate Law.

Ian continues to be a competitive athlete in Belleville, participating in various competitive sports.

Ian serves as a director on the board of the Hastings County Law Association.
