Description
Hari Marcovici is a partner in the business law group at Goodmans. His practice focuses on M&A and securities law. He advises Canadian and foreign public and private companies on both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt issuances, restructurings and ongoing corporate governance matters.
Before joining Goodmans, Hari worked as an associate in the Capital Markets Group of a national law firm and obtained both regulatory and in-house experience in the several years he spent with the Ontario Securities Commission’s Enforcement Branch and Investment Funds & Structured Products Branch. He also worked at two large bank-owned asset managers.
Hari is fluent in Hebrew and Romanian, is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Canadian Advocacy Council.
Hari is recognized in the 2022, 2023 and 2024 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada for Corporate Law. He is also featured in the 2024 edition of The Legal 500 Canada for his work in capital markets and recognized by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for corporate finance & securities.
