Garett is an associate lawyer in our class actions department, focusing on complex securities, consumer protection, and price-fixing class actions.

Garett is an associate lawyer in the Siskinds’ class actions department. Based in Siskinds’ London offices, his practice is focused on representing plaintiffs in complex securities, consumer protection and price-fixing class actions.

Garett has appeared as counsel at all levels of Ontario courts. He is a member of the counsel team prosecuting Baldwin v Imperial Metals Corporation, which resulted in an important Court of Appeal decision considering the issue of public correction under Part XXIII.1 of the Securities Act.

Garett has been and is involved in several large securities class actions seeking compensation for injured investors. He was a member of the counsel team in a securities class action against SNC-Lavalin that recovered $110 million for investors. Garett is currently a member of the counsel team seeking to recover trailing commissions paid to discount brokers on investors behalf.

Garett obtained his J.D. from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law. Garett summered and articled with Siskinds prior to joining the class actions team following his call to the bar in 2017.
