Description
Emma is an associate lawyer with the firm’s advocacy group.

Emma maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on commercial disputes, insurance claims, and insolvency and restructuring proposals. Her experience includes representing clients in court, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and negotiations.

Emma has also assisted clients on matters involving complex insurance policy interpretations and challenging liability issues. She has successfully defended a variety of claims including for disability benefits, personal injury compensation and property loss coverage.

Emma joined MLT Aikins after completing her articles with the firm in 2023. Prior to joining MLT Aikins, she obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan.
