Background
Before joining Stikeman Elliott, Daniel was Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at the Royal Bank of Canada. In this role, he was involved in the oversight of board of directors and audit committee matters. He also supported Corporate Treasury in its capital transactions and funding activities, including debt and equity issuances, and worked on various public disclosure and securities law matters.

Daniel articled and was an associate at a global law firm in Toronto.

Prior to law school, Daniel worked in corporate finance and commercial lending at a major Canadian financial institution.
