Ms. Scardicchio is Litigation Counsel called to the Ontario Bar in 2012 and is a Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. With over a decade of experience, Lea Scardicchio has appeared at various levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Justice. She regularly appears at the A. Grenville and William Davis Courthouse in Brampton, as well as courts across Toronto, Milton, Burlington, Newmarket, Orangeville, Oshawa and Hamilton. Before getting called to the Bar, Ms. Scardicchio completed her Articles of Clerkship jointly with the now Honourable Alison Mackay who presides in Brampton, and the notable Brian E. Starkman, practicing exclusively in criminal defence. Ms. Scardicchio is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, the Peel Lawyers’ Association, the Peel Criminal Lawyers’ Association, York Region Law Association, and the Ontario Bar Association. In addition to Ms. Scardicchio’s focused criminal practice, she has also represented clients on trials and mediations of the firm’s civil and plaintiff personal injury cases.
