Description
Courtney Wilson is a partner and a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Finance, Capital Markets and Securities Groups. Courtney represents both private equity and strategic players in domestic and cross-border acquisitions and divestitures. She acts as counsel to companies and other stakeholders in multifaceted restructuring and strategic transactions and general commercial arrangements. In addition, Courtney represents issuers and securities dealers in connection with complex corporate finance transactions, as borrowers’ and lenders’ counsel in leveraged finance matters and as general corporate counsel to numerous clients.

Professional Activities
Courtney is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association. She has also been a member of the firm’s Law Clerks Committee since 2014.

Background
Courtney completed a secondment to OMERS Private Markets during her time as an associate. In this role, she assisted the in-house legal team at OMERS Private Equity and Borealis Infrastructure Management Inc.

Courtney is a member of the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation (formerly the Toronto East General Hospital) Board of Directors.
