Description
Amit graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science and thereafter, attended the University of Ottawa for his Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Amit was VP Finances for the Health Law Student Association (HLSA) and assisted in spearheading the now precedented Walker Health Law Moot that has since remained as a focal learning opportunity for young advocates at uOttawa. Amit also achieved 1st place in the 2022 Rick Weiler Mediation Competition at uOttawa, which showcased a plethora of up-and-coming law school graduates facing off in an Intellectual Property Law dispute.
Raised in the Diamond & Diamond work atmosphere, Amit completed his articling and was called to the Bar in June 2023. He has consistently expressed his interest in personal injury at the firm while gaining valuable knowledge within the practice of motor vehicle accident tort claims, accident benefit claims and slip and fall claims.
When not working, Amit remains dedicated to his family and friends, spending time playing sports, going to the movies and participating in online gaming tournaments.
