Description
Amelia Crowshoe is an associate lawyer based out of the firm’s Calgary office.

Amelia obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. She completed her articles with the firm after summering with the firm in 2019.

Amelia is a member of the Piikani Nation and is actively engaged in First Nation communities. She previously worked at the Alberta First Nations Information Governance Centre as the Communications Coordinator where she prepared policy and legislative review documents, position papers and leadership briefs. Her experience in this role also extends to participating in negotiations to build consensus among various stakeholders in drafting agreements. She regularly takes on public speaking opportunities to share her experiences as a member of her traditional community.

Prior to attending law school she completed a Bachelor of Communication and Culture at the University of Calgary.
