Description
Amal Nayyar practices in the areas of Family Law. She received her LL.B. from Nottingham Trent University in London with Honours in 2010, and her Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2012. She was also awarded a B.A. with Distinction in 2002 from Mount Royal University.

Amal was actively involved with pro bono clinics during her legal education. She continued working with law firms and charitable organizations in providing legal services to those in need in Calgary from 2010 to 2012. In December of 2012 Amal joined Nanda & Associate Lawyers where she completed her articles and has continued working as an Associate. Amal’s experience includes working for the Alberta Justice and Solicitor General. She has successfully represented clients before Small Claims Court, the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. She regularly represents her clients in Brampton, Milton, and Toronto Courts. Amal is passionate, understanding, driven, and detail oriented. She prides herself in delivering quality professional service and dedicated attention to each client’s matter. She is fluent in Urdu, English, Hindi and some Punjabi. She is a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario Bar Association, Muslim Lawyers Association, Muslim Woman Association, South Asian Bar Association, and Canadian Association of South Asian Lawyers and the Canadian Bar Association.
