Description
Jae Hyon Cho is a Founding Partner of Vaturi & Cho LLP in Toronto. He heads the firm’s Personal Injury practice while also overseeing the Real Estate and Corporate Commercial divisions.

Jae acts primarily on behalf of plaintiffs in serious personal injury and disability claims, but he has also represented insurers and defendants in his earlier career. His personal injury work covers traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic injuries, psychological injuries and chronic soft tissue injuries, as well as wrongful death claims for families who have lost a relative through negligence.

Beyond personal injury, Jae handles complicated commercial and real estate transactions and provides strategic consultancy to start-up ventures and international companies entering the Canadian market.

Jae earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario in 2011. He previously graduated from Trinity College at the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science in 2005. He advises clients in English and in Korean, directly and without an interpreter, and is the author of the Korean-language book The Man Who Defends.
