Description
Trevor Batty is a corporate restructuring lawyer based in Calgary. His practice focuses on corporate insolvency, restructuring and enforcement matters.
Trevor advises his clients on all aspects of restructuring and insolvency matters, including:

Receiverships
Bankruptcies
Foreclosures
Bankruptcy proposals
Proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act
Trevor is a strong advocate for his clients and has represented them at all levels of Court in the Province of Alberta. Trevor acts for a range of clients across Alberta including debtors, chartered banks, other secured creditors and court-appointed officers in insolvency proceedings.

After obtaining his law degree, Trevor performed a joint clerkship at the Alberta Court of Appeal and Court of Queen’s Bench where he developed a passion for commercial litigation.

Outside the Office
Trevor spends most of his free time with his young family and his two dogs. You will usually find him at various gyms, baseball fields and soccer pitches around Calgary supporting his children in their athletic pursuits.
