Michelle Simpson’s practice focuses on dispute resolution and conducting investigations. Michelle is a lawyer, Investigator, Chartered Arbitrator and Chartered Mediator. Michelle holds a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the ADR Institute of Alberta and has successfully mediated many high conflict and multi-party disputes in a number of areas including construction, estates, and business. Michelle as Arbitrator holds a Certificate in Arbitration and has completed over 100 arbitrations in the areas of construction, business, and manufacturer’s liability. Michelle currently teaches the National Arbitration Introductory Course for the ADR Institute of Alberta and is Past President of the ADR Institute of Alberta. Michelle is is an active member of the CBA ADR Section North and the Construction Section North. Michelle is currently listed on the following rosters for mediation, arbitration or investigations: CAMVAP, National Energy Board, Sport Resolution Dispute Centre of Canada, Alberta Municipal Affairs, and the ADR Institute of Canada’s National Commercial Arbitration Roster.
